Hostel Ukonlinna is located on the shores of Lake Saimaa and 7 kilometers from the center of Imatra which makes it a perfect beach Hostel. There is a long and shallow beach right next to the hostel. Swimming, beach saunas and beach volleyball courts offer nice things to do during your free time.
You can head to Ukonlinna Café directly from the beach to enjoy refreshments. At the same time, you can admire the sports-themed murals from 1952 on the walls of the café. Disc golf, hiking and mountain biking are also available in the vicinity of the hostel. Rooms at Hostel Ukonlinna are mainly double rooms, but the hostel also offers dormitory accommodation.
Youth Centre Piispala is located on the shores of a clear-water lake called Kivijärvi. In addition to swimming, you can also paddle board and play beach volleyball. You can relax in a traditional log-built sauna from the 19th-century.

Sports Centre Kisakeskus is located on the shores of Lake Kullaanjärvi. The hostel has a nice beach and a relaxing beach sauna, both located in a cove by a high cliff. The hostel also has an atmospheric smoke sauna on its own beach, separate from other buildings.

Youth Centre Marttinen is located in Virrat, where you can stay in the middle of a beautiful lake landscape on an island called Marttinen. There are two beaches in the area. The other beach has a brand new sauna building called Vihta, which, in addition to saunas, also has comfortable facilities for organizing small-scale meetings or events.
There’s also a beach volleyball court and a campfire site available for use. Rowing boats are free to use and canoes can be rented for canoeing trips. Accommodation is available in apartment complexes and log cottages. Both accommodation types are located by the lake. The rooms are for 2-6 people and have private washing facilities.
